Ufaq Asad
Lead ArchivistUfaq Asad is a filmmaker and archivist from Gilgit-Baltistan. She works as an archivist at Fateh Point Archives. Previously, Ufaq has worked with Citizens Archive of Pakistan, and School of Imagination, which is a speculative artistic research project based in Ibrahim Hyderi, Karachi. Her artistic work focuses on gender, climate justice, migration, and identity. Her directorial debut film ‘Dou Kut Chai’ has been screened in international festivals in Belgium, India, and Pakistan.
Muhammad Hasnain
Archive ManagerMuhammad Hasnain is the Archive Manager at Fateh Point Archives, and also the Project Manager at Bulhan Bachao. His interests include environmental justice, water governance, and poetry.
Natasha Ali Abro
Creative InternNatasha Ali Abro is an undergraduate student at the Mariam Dawood School of Design and Visual Arts, Beaconhouse National University (BNU), currently based in Lahore, Pakistan. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Expanded Arts and Design, with a keen interest in design, creative autoethnographic research, and traditional art practices.

Kaleemullah Bashir
Former Lead ArchivistKaleemullah Bashir is a PhD Student in the Department of Asian Studies at the University of Texas in Austin. Along with their research work, Kaleem is a translator and archivist interested in South Asian literary and political cultures in the late 19th and 20th centuries. Kaleem worked as the lead archivist for Fateh Point Archives between June 2023 and July 2024.
Ali Samoo
Former Lead ArchivistAli is currently an Erasmus Mundus Scholar in Urban Studies based across Brussels, Vienna, Copenhagen and Madrid. Between 2022 and 2023, Ali and Zulfikar conceived of the Fateh Point Archives and Ali was thus working as Archive Manager/Lead, overseeing all aspects of its formation/realization. Previously, Ali had worked at the Karachi Urban Lab as Archival Researcher on the Cool Infrastructures project. Before that, Ali had worked briefly at DAWN and Oxford University Press. Ali’s book chapter can be found in Vasl’s Anthology Waba Kay Dor Mein/In the Time of the Pandemic: Surviving and Reflecting during a Global Crisis. Ali is currently working on a research article exploring Bahria Town’s boundary walls and its ramifications on Baloch/Sindhi villages and lives in Karachi’s Malir district.
Beenish Sarfaraz
DesignerBeenish Sarfaraz is a designer, researcher, and educator based in Karachi, Pakistan. Her work explores the intersections of design, gender, and the environment. She creates across web, print, and moving-image media, collaborating with people, collectives, and organisations that inspire her and align with her values. Hassan Munawwar
Web DeveloperHassan Munawwar is a designer, web programmer, and art educator currently teaching in the Visual Studies Department at the University of Karachi. He is recognized for his expertise in design and web development, having contributed to numerous national and international projects. In 2017, he was honored as one of the Top 5 Designers of Pakistan at the National Design Conference (ND2C) in Islamabad.
He owns Commforce International, an in-genius platform for the emerging commerce world by providing Brand, Development, and Strategy plans to achieve their playground management with creative e-Ideas.
