Zulfikar Ali Bhutto is an environmentalist. He is the founder of the wildlife initiative Bulhan Bachao as well as the archive and research database, Fateh Point Archives. He is currently based between Larkana and Karachi.

Omair Danish

Lead Archivist
Omair is an undergraduate in Media and Cultural Studies. He is an archivist, photographer, researcher, and writer, currently based in Karachi, and is leading the Fateh Point Archives project alongside Zulfikar. His work has been featured in Arzu AnthologyReimagining Relations, and Unbound Unchained. Omair uses the mediums of photography, research, and creative writing to make sense of his socio-cultural surroundings, specifically in the realms of new media and digital culture, urban life, and food. Kaleemullah Bashir

Former Lead Archivist

Kaleemullah Bashir is a PhD Student in the Department of Asian Studies at the University of Texas in Austin. Along with their research work, Kaleem is a translator and archivist interested in South Asian literary and political cultures in the late 19th and 20th centuries. Kaleem worked as the lead archivist for Fateh Point Archives between June 2023 and July 2024.

Ali Samoo

Former Lead Archivist

Ali is currently an Erasmus Mundus Scholar in Urban Studies based across Brussels, Vienna, Copenhagen and Madrid. Between 2022 and 2023, Ali and Zulfikar conceived of the Fateh Point Archives and Ali was thus working as Archive Manager/Lead, overseeing all aspects of its formation/realization. Previously, Ali had worked at the Karachi Urban Lab as Archival Researcher on the Cool Infrastructures project. Before that, Ali had worked briefly at DAWN and Oxford University Press. Ali’s book chapter can be found in Vasl’s Anthology Waba Kay Dor Mein/In the Time of the Pandemic: Surviving and Reflecting during a Global Crisis. Ali is currently working on a research article exploring Bahria Town’s boundary walls and its ramifications on Baloch/Sindhi villages and lives in Karachi’s Malir district.

Beenish Sarfaraz

Designer

Beenish Sarfaraz is a designer, researcher, and educator based in Karachi, Pakistan. Her work explores the intersections of design, gender, and the environment. She creates across web, print, and moving-image media, collaborating with people, collectives, and organisations that inspire her and align with her values.
