Seminar on Human Rights in Sukkur, with Chief Guest Begum Nusrat Bhutto, 1993

Titled “Murtaza Bhutto, A Prisoner of Conscience”, this seminar held at the Inter Pak Hotel in Sukkur, on 26th December 1993, showcases speeches regarding Murtaza Bhutto arrest in November, advocating for his release. Murtaza had returned to the country after 17 years of exile in 1993, but was arrested by the PPP’s government on his arrival in Karachi. Begum Nusrat Bhutto delivers a speech as the chief guest of this seminar.
