Documentary on the Status of Women in Pakistan, 1989

A documentary produced by a French studio in 1989 on the status of women and religion in Pakistan, after the end of Zia’s government and during the beginning of Benazir Bhutto’s government. It features interviews with various personalities, such as veteran actor Imran Pirzada, artist Sheema Kermani, founder of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, Justice Dorab Patel, Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, and numerous students from the University of Karachi, lawyers, labourers, and workers.
